NEURON WARS is a turn-based 2-player knowledge game with unique gameplay: on a hex grid where each cell is a neuron, you conquer neurons by answering trivia questions faster and more accurately than your opponent.

Each neuron belongs to one of 20 knowledge categories — from Space to Mythology to Programming. To attack a neuron, you must answer a question from its category. The faster correct answer wins!

Connected neurons form clusters that earn bonus points. Killstreaks unlock powerful items: Super-Neuron (conquer 3 cells at once), Mind Control (steal an opponent's neuron), or Neural Shield (protect your territory on defeat).

The game board is randomly generated each match — no two games are the same. Level up, earn XP, and dominate the global leaderboard!

How to play

1. Play at neuron-wars.de
2. Open the lobby, create a new match or join an open one
3. Attack a neuron — answer the trivia question from its category faster than your opponent
4. Build clusters for bonus points, chain wins for killstreak items
5. Most points after 15 rounds wins — or take all enemy neurons for an early victory

NEURON WARS is a solo indie project. Feedback, bug reports, and harsh critiques are all welcome — drop them in the comments or on the game site.
